ME7 rolling anti-lag: captured RPM, late ignition and controlled REDSOL staging.

Mapelyx is developing a rolling RPM-hold strategy for supported ME7.5 software. It is not currently sold as a production feature and remains subject to controlled runtime validation.

Current development architecture

The strategy captures a target RPM from a deliberate cruise-control input, selects dedicated late-ignition tables for the active multimap mode and can request progressively stronger REDSOL intervention as RPM rises above the captured target.

Why the safety gates matter

Clutch, brake, speed, pedal, coolant, modeled exhaust temperature, RPM overshoot and boost/pressure conditions can all matter when deciding whether the strategy should remain active. OEM intervention remains authoritative.

What is REDSOL in this context?
