Important: VAG part numbers can have multiple software revisions and sometimes very different hardware/firmware behind similar prefixes. Always identify the exact file with its VAG part number, VAG software version, Bosch hardware/software identifiers and firmware branch when available.
How this grows: when a new original BIN or reliable ME7Check identification is verified, it can be added as another exact record beneath the family. That means the hub can keep expanding without pretending an unverified suffix is known.

HOW TO TUNE ME7 FROM STOCK
Build the tune in layers.
Read, verify, baseline-log, then change one system at a time. That is much easier to diagnose than changing every map at once.
Make two matching original reads
Keep an untouched backup and verify that the ECU read is repeatable.
Record the exact software
Save the VAG part number, VAG SW version, Bosch HW/SW identifiers, file size and ME7 branch.
Check checksum state
Test the original with ME7Check/ME7Sum before editing and re-check the exact final output.
Log the stock calibration
Record requested/actual load or boost, throttle, lambda, timing correction, MAF, N75 and temperatures before adding power.
